UTEP-UT Austin Coordinated Admission Program

The University of Texas System developed the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP) to expand the admission options available to students interested in enrolling at The University of Texas at Austin.

Program Description

When a student applies to UT Austin, he/she may receive an offer of provisional admission, allowing participation in CAP. After successfully completing CAP requirements during their freshman year at a participating UT system school (fall and spring only), students transfer to UT Austin to complete their undergraduate degree.

Program Curriculum

• Coordinated Admissions Program Curriculum Approved Courses at UTEP are available for students participating in the program.

About the Program

• Degree Flowcharts, Recommended Course Sequencing are available for students to plan their academic path.
• The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is also relevant to the program, providing students with the necessary support to succeed in their undergraduate studies.
