Program Details

B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture

The study of agriculture is called agricultural science or agricultural technology. The field combines the natural and social sciences, along with economics, engineering and management of biological systems to practice, development and understand the fields of agriculture and forestry.

Eligibility

• Nationality: The applicant should be a Resident Indian National.
• Mode: Regular, Full Time and Formal Education with English as one of the Subjects.
• Age Limit: 01.07.2006
• Qualifying Examination: The final examination of the 10+2 / HSC system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board.
• Subject Eligibility: A pass with minimum overall aggregate of 60% in addition to an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) as subjects in the qualifying examination.
• Selection Criteria: Admission will be based on the obtained rank.

Fee Structure

• Tuition Fee (Per Annum): INR 1,10,000
• Caution Deposit (Refundable) (One time payment): INR 5,000
• Total fees to be paid for the first year: INR 1,15,000

Document Submission

The following documents in original should be submitted at the time of reporting to the Institute:

• XII Mark statements of all attempts of qualifying examination.
• Transfer Certificate / School leaving Certificate.
• Migration Certificate (if issued by the board).
• Student Profile (Signed by Student & Parent).
• Recent passport size colour photos 2 Nos.

VIT School of Agricultural Innovations and Advanced Learning (VAIAL) is engaged in Agricultural education, research and extension. Core activities of the school revolves around teaching in Agriculture, training of students, organizing farmers training programmes, outreach and field programmes for the farmers as well as research in agricultural and allied sectors on a techno-commercial scale.
