The Interactive Virtual Anatomy and Physiology Lab at SHINE provides a cutting-edge, immersive learning experience, combining advanced technology to enhance the study of human anatomy.


  • The lab features a digital dissection table with a virtual cadaver, allowing students to explore the human body in a highly interactive and detailed way.
  • With the integration of VR/AR headsets, students can view and interact with the human body in 3D, gaining a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • The lab is equipped with motion tracking suits, EEG, EMG, and ECG systems to study human movement, brain activity, muscle response, and heart function, respectively.
  • Additionally, a nerve conduction setup and ultrasound machine offer hands-on experience with diagnostic tools.
  • The lab also includes licensed 3D Segmenter software, which enables students to segment anatomical structures from MRI and CT images for detailed analysis.
  • With a 3D printer available, students can print anatomical models, allowing them to create tangible representations of the human body for further study and research.
