The Master of Computer Science (MCS) at WPI is an applied degree designed for students who have a bachelor's degree outside of computer science. This program offers additional computer science training for professional roles, providing a thorough computer science skill set that can be applied immediately in a professional setting.

Target Student
The MCS program is geared towards students who are going directly into or already working in industry, as well as those who do not have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science.
Required Credits
The program requires 30 credits to complete.
Degree Earned
Upon completion of the program, students are awarded a Master of Computer Science (MCS) degree.
Thesis Options
The MCS program does not offer thesis options; instead, a capstone experience is required.

Program Path
