The American Society for Metals (ASM) has been awarding undergraduate scholarships since 1953, with the ASM Materials Education Foundation and leading ASM Chapters nationwide contributing to the total of over $1 million in awards. Currently, 37 scholarships are awarded annually through the ASM International Foundation, supported by member contributions and other gifts.
