University Program: Outdoor Education
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's (UWM) Outdoor Pursuits offers a range of outdoor activities throughout the year. These activities include rock climbing, camping, whitewater rafting, and longboarding.
Program Details
Extended outdoor trips are also regularly available, providing a great opportunity to explore more of the country. These trips are typically five to 10 days long and are offered during academic breaks, such as spring break and UWinteriM. The trips can span multiple states and include a variety of activities, such as:
- Hiking
- Camping
- Biking
- Other outdoor pursuits
Eligibility and Requirements
No prior outdoor experience is necessary to participate in the Outdoor Education program. This makes it accessible to a wide range of students, regardless of their background or experience level.
