Requirements

The PhD in Social Welfare requires 60 credits, including:

• SOC WRK 801: Social Welfare Theory (3 credits)
• SOC WRK 802: Social Welfare Research (3 credits)
• SOC WRK 803: Social Welfare Policy (3 credits)
• SOC WRK 804: Social Welfare Practice (3 credits)
  • Select 12 credits from the following:
    • SOC WRK 805: Social Welfare and Diversity (3 credits)
    • SOC WRK 806: Social Welfare and Family (3 credits)
    • SOC WRK 807: Social Welfare and Health (3 credits)
