Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of business analytics principles and practices. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in business analytics and data science.

Admission Requirements

Students are admitted to the Graduate Certificate program separately, and admission requirements are consistent with those specified by the UWM Graduate School and the Business Analytics program.

Credits and Courses

Students accepted into the Graduate Certificate program complete the following courses:

  • BUS ADM 711: Business Analytics (3 credits)
  • BUS ADM 713: Data Mining (3 credits)
  • BUS ADM 715: Predictive Analytics (3 credits)
• Electives
  • Select 6 additional credits within the Business Analytics program
  • Select 6 additional credits with the consent of the student's advisor
• Total Credits: 18
