Youth Marxist Training Program

The university held a opening ceremony for the Youth Marxist Training Program, which aims to cultivate young Marxists. The program includes theoretical learning, practical training, and exchange discussions. The goal is to lead students to strengthen their political identity, ideological identity, theoretical identity, and emotional identity with the party, and to grow into qualified builders and successors of socialism with firm Marxist beliefs, moral and intellectual abilities, and comprehensive development.

  • The program started with the national anthem.
  • Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Han Fushun, gave a motivational speech.
  • Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Wang Kai, read out the list of trainees.
  • Trainee representative, Yang Wenbo, gave a speech.
  • Liu Shenghan, Deputy Director of the Workers' Committee, gave a special report on becoming a firm Marxist believer and the basic qualities of student cadres.

The report emphasized that having firm Marxist beliefs is a core issue that every progressive student and cadre must deeply think about and strive to practice. It requires a deep understanding, internal recognition, and self-conscious practice of Marxism. The report also introduced the basic principles of Marxist philosophy, political economy, and scientific socialism, and highlighted the seven aspects of qualities that student cadres should possess: strong political quality, excellent business ability, strong service consciousness, good moral quality, solid mass foundation, courage to innovate and practice, and healthy physical and mental quality.
