Program Overview
Introduction to the HUSA Program
The Hiroshima University Study Abroad Program (HUSA) is an exchange program with partner universities overseas. This program enables undergraduates and postgraduates to spend a semester or a year studying overseas for the purpose of study, gaining experience of other cultures, and learning another language.
Program Details
While studying overseas, program participants attend the same classes as local students and can have the credits they receive recognized as credits for their degree at Hiroshima University. However, there are some cases in which this is not possible.
Eligibility
The program is open to undergraduates and postgraduates, although in some cases, it may be limited to undergraduates only.
Program Structure
- Participants spend a semester or a year studying overseas.
- They attend classes alongside local students.
- Credits earned overseas can be recognized towards their degree at Hiroshima University, with some exceptions.
