About Program
Program Overview
Introduction to the Erasmus+ IM Project
The Erasmus+ IM project is a collaborative effort between our university and Koç University in Turkey. The project aims to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to participate in a four-month exchange program at Koç University during the spring semester of 2026.
Selection Requirements
To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Love their country and possess good political ideology and moral character, with no record of violating laws or regulations during their time at the university.
- Be physically and mentally healthy, with no diseases that may hinder their ability to study abroad.
- Meet the grade level, major, and language proficiency requirements specified in the attachment. The project should have a major or courses similar to the student's major, or the student should be able to take courses that align with their professional training scheme.
- Have excellent academic performance, with all required courses for their major passed (including re-exams). The GPA should not be lower than 2.2 (out of 4.0), although this standard may be relaxed if there are fewer applicants than available positions.
- Possess good communication and expression skills, be able to adapt to studying and living abroad, and have sufficient financial resources to cover the costs of studying abroad.
- Be from a region that is not the project location.
Campus Selection Process
The campus selection process consists of the following steps:
- Student Application: Students apply through the "Micro People's University - Teaching - Undergraduate Integrated Information Platform - Overseas Exchange - Project Application" system from November 10th to 13th.
- College Review and Recommendation: Colleges review and recommend students by November 18th, considering their academic ability, physical and mental health, and political ideology.
- School-Organized Interview: The school organizes an interview based on the selection requirements and the students' grades and major rankings.
- Recommended List Publicity: The school calculates the final scores of the students participating in the selection, with the interview score accounting for 70% and the major ranking score accounting for 30%. The recommended list is then publicized on the school's website for two days.
- Submission of Recommended List: The Teaching Affairs Office submits the recommended list to the International Exchange and Cooperation Office (Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Office) after the publicity period.
Notes
- Students must submit their applications through the system and provide required materials, including language proficiency certificates and award certificates.
- Students should carefully research the requirements of the host university and communicate with their college to avoid blind applications.
- Students who give up the opportunity after being recommended or withdraw from the program after being dispatched are not allowed to apply for similar university-level public-funded overseas exchange programs during their undergraduate studies.
