Introduction to the RMBS IMBA & ESCP Europe (Paris) MIM Dual Degree Program
The RMBS IMBA & ESCP Europe (Paris) MIM Dual Degree Program is a collaborative effort between Renmin University of China and ESCP Europe, offering students the opportunity to pursue two prestigious degrees. This program allows full-time MBA students to spend their first year at RMBS and their second year at ESCP Europe in Paris.
Program Structure
Dual Degree students spend the first year at Renmin and the second year at ESCP Europe. After completing the Fall semester on the Paris campus, students can apply for the Spring Semester to specialize at one of ESCP's campuses in Paris, Madrid, Turin, London, or Berlin. Depending on their previous studies and validated courses at their home institution, students may need to enroll in prerequisite and M1 core courses during their year at ESCP Europe.
Prerequisite Courses
The following are compulsory prerequisite courses for students who have not previously studied management:
- Financial Accounting
- Corporate Law
- Costing and Decision Making
- Economics
- Fundamentals of Finance
- Information Tools and Skills for Business
- Principles of Marketing
- Psychology and Management
- Quantitative Methods
These courses must be validated prior to admission into the 2-year MIM program.
Core Courses
The following are the core management courses that must be completed before the M2 Master Year:
- Corporate Finance (FM03 30h)
- Economics for Managers (EM02 30h)
- European Business Law and Taxation (DM02 30h)
- Financial Reporting under IFRS (CM01 30h)
- Human Resource Management (HM01 30h)
- International Marketing Decisions (MM06 30h)
- Management Control (AF01 30h)
- Operations Management (RM01 30h)
- Organisation and Management (OM01 30h)
- Strategy (PF00 30h)
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor degree certificate
- Undergraduate English transcript with a clear grading system
- MBA Entrance English Exam with a score of 82 or higher, IELTS 6.5 or higher, TOEFL 90 or higher, DUOLINGO 100 or higher, or Level C1 in CEF
- English CV (one page)
- Personal Statement (one page)
Program Cost
The program cost includes:
- Tuitions: RMBS tuition + ESCP 2-year Registration Fee
- Registration Fee
- Pre-requisite Courses Fee: a supplement of 1,100 to 2,050 for catch-up courses will be due for those students without previous management studies
- Estimated Living Expenses: 1,300/month
Application Timeline
The application timeline is as follows:
- Pre-selection & Nomination (RMBS): Early November
- Online Application & Interview: December (two weeks)
- Confirmation & Registration Fee: Early January
- 2nd Year Course Registration: May
- 2nd Year Registration Fee & Enrollment: Early September
