The objectives of the workshop are:
- Raising awareness of risk management in Institutions of Higher Learning
- Understanding risks and basic management methods
- Introducing the ISO 31000 framework
- Building competence and a culture of risk management

Course Speakers
- Mr. Omar Abdul Rahim: Head, Risk Management Division, Centre for Risk Management (RISK), Universiti Malaya. He has experience in risk management and is a certified Lead Auditor under ISO 9001.
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Hafizuddin Syah Bangaan Abdullah: Deputy Director (Risk Management), Centre for Risk, Safety & Health (ROSH-UKM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Risk Management and is a Certified Trainer under HRD Corp.
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shafie Mohamed Zabri: Dean of Johor Business School, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). He has research focuses on behavioural finance, SMEs, entrepreneurship, and digitalisation, and is a Certified Risk Manager (CRiM).
Additional Information
