Introduction to the Master of Disaster Risk Management Program

The Master of Disaster Risk Management (MDRM) program is a postgraduate degree offered by the Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Center (DPPC) at the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). This program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of disaster risk management professionals.

Program Overview

The MDRM program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of disaster risk management, including emergency response, disaster medicine, and risk reduction strategies. Certified Professional Training (CPT)
