Introduction to Post-Doctoral Training

The Post-Doctoral Training is a development training approved for eligible staff to conduct full-time research, aiming to enhance their experience and knowledge in their field of expertise, produce scientific publications, and build research networks.

Assessment of Post-Doctoral Training

The assessment of the Post-Doctoral Training is based on the following components:

• Laporan Pasca Kedoktoran (Post-Doctoral Report) 10% of the marks
• Evaluation by Supervisor/Mentor (Based on Part B Yearly Performance/Final Evaluation) 50% of the marks
• Achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)/Final Output (refer to Appendix A1) 40% of the marks

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

The KPIs for the Post-Doctoral Training are as follows:

• Publishing a book chapter 10 marks
• Publishing an indexed conference paper 10 marks
• Publishing an indexed journal paper (WOS Q3/Q4) 20 marks
• Publishing an indexed journal paper (WOS Q1/Q2) 30 marks
• Filing a patent 20 marks
• Registering a copyright 5 marks
• Conducting co-branding
  etworking activities 20 marks

Reporting and Evaluation

The trainee is required to submit a progress report and a final report, using the provided format. The evaluation of the trainee's performance will be based on the assessment components and the KPIs achieved.
