2025 Winter Program at Politecnico di Milano's POLI.design

Introduction to the Program

The 2025 winter program is a 2-week design thinking and innovation project offered by POLI.design, a design academy founded by Politecnico di Milano in 1999. The program is designed for graduates, professionals, and companies seeking innovative design training. POLI.design is a leading education, research, and promotion center in the design field, collaborating closely with design associations and participating in cutting-edge research and innovation projects.


Program Overview

The program will cover four modules: design thinking, service design, user research, and interaction design. Students will learn design methods and ideas through case studies and will work in groups to design a project under the guidance of teachers. The program includes four Chinese tutoring sessions to help students understand the course content better. Upon completing the project, students will receive a certificate of completion from POLI.design, and outstanding group members will receive an award certificate.

The program will take place in Milan, Italy, known as the world's design and fashion capital. Milan is home to numerous famous fashion brands, such as Armani, Versace, and Prada, and is a global hub for designers. The city boasts a rich history and culture, with iconic landmarks like the Milan Cathedral and the Scala Opera House.

Enrollment Requirements

  1. Full-time undergraduate or graduate students aged 18 or above
  2. Good moral character, physical and mental health, able to complete study tasks
  3. Suitable for students of art and design majors or those interested in the project
  4. English proficiency: TOEFL 70, IELTS 5.5, or equivalent
