Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:

• Meet the requirements for participating in the 2020 national higher education entrance examination.
• Have a strong passion for the arts, a good professional foundation, and good moral character.
• Be physically and mentally healthy.
• Meet the requirements of the "Guiding Opinions on the Physical Examination of Recruits for Ordinary Higher Education" and have normal color vision.
• In provinces where art and literature are divided, only art students are recruited.

Professional Requirements

Applicants must:

• Have good vocal conditions, physical coordination, and performance abilities.
• Meet the height requirements: 1.63 meters for female students and 1.75 meters for male students, with a good image and temperament.
• Exceptional professional abilities may be considered for height requirement exemptions.

Professional Examinations

• The professional examination is divided into two parts: the initial examination and the re-examination.
• The initial examination includes:
  • Singing a self-selected song (one or two songs).
  • Self-selected dance or action imitation.
  • Recitation.
• The re-examination includes:
  • Singing a self-selected song (one or two songs).
  • Self-selected dance or action imitation.
  • Impromptu performance.
  • Listening and singing, and sight-singing (conducted in a separate examination room, simultaneously with the re-examination).

Cultural Course Examinations

Applicants must participate in the 2020 national higher education entrance examination.

Admission

• Applicants must participate in the professional examination organized by the university and obtain a professional examination qualification certificate.
• The university issues professional examination qualification certificates to applicants according to the provincial enrollment plan, with a ratio of no more than 1:4.
• Applicants who obtain the professional examination qualification certificate and meet the cultural course requirements are admitted based on their professional examination scores.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee standard is implemented according to the "Interim Measures for the Management of Credit-based Tuition Fees in Jiangsu Province's Higher Education Institutions" and the "Interim Implementation Measures for the Management of Credit-based Tuition Fees for Undergraduates at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics". The first-year tuition fee is 6,800 yuan, and the actual tuition fee is settled at the end of the academic year.
