Program Overview

The B.A. in Italian is a comprehensive program that requires students to complete at least 30 credits, with a maximum of 45 credits. The program includes a range of courses that provide students with a deep understanding of the Italian language and culture.

Program Requirements

To complete the major, students must fulfill the following requirements:

• Complete at least 30 credits (maximum 45)
• Include at least two 400-level courses
• Exclude ITL 100, 101, and 102 from the 30 credits required for the major
  • Up to three credits from ITL 390 or 395 may be used toward the 30 credits required for the major
• Complete a total of 120 credits for graduation
  • At least 42 of these credits must be in courses numbered 300 or above
