The Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) role provides leadership for best practice initiatives, cost-effective quality improvement, and organizational change.

Curriculum

Loyola's Oncology Certificate program focuses on the continuum of cancer care, from prevention, risk identification, acute care, and end of life.

Admission

Admission to the program is open to all bachelor's and master's prepared nurses. Admission to Loyola University Chicago and the School of Nursing is competitive and based on a variety of factors.

Admission Requirements

• The program is open to bachelor's and master's prepared nurses
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice with Oncology specialty
  • Oncology certificate
