The STAR program is fortunate to have two NIH-funded T35 Institutional Training Grants to support medical student research through the STAR program.

• This grant is funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
• Twelve trainees participate each year.
• The principal investigator for this grant is Colleen Fitzgerald, MD.
