Art History (BA) Program Details

The Art History program is designed for students who wish to major in Art History. The program requires students to enroll in specific courses during their first semester.


Advising Notes

Important notes for Art History majors include:


  • The major is relatively small in terms of credits/requirements, so students who are unable to enroll in FNAR courses during their first semester will still be on track with their major requirements beginning in the spring.
  • Students who prefer to take a foreign language during their first semester may do so and make room by swapping out one Core class. They must take their placement exam unless they have no classroom experience with the language.
