- Introduction to the critical skills required for successful career and professional development
- Students will learn about career development theory, develop job/internship search skills, establish a job/internship search action plan, and begin to become oriented to employer research
- Prerequisite: Undergraduate student standing
- Term Availability: Fall, Spring, Summer
- Credits: 2
- Mode of Instruction: In-class and online
- QUIN 300: Business Internship-Elective Credit
- Companion course for undergraduate students concurrently engaged in an internship for 1 to 3 hours of elective academic credit
- Students will engage in reflection on their contributions to the workplace and the overall internship experience
- Prerequisite: At least Sophomore standing; Quinlan School of Business student, or non-Quinlan student pursuing a minor in the School of Business; consent of instructor
- Term Availability: Fall, Spring, Summer
- Credits: 1-3 (variable)
- Mode of Instruction: Online
- QUIN 351: Business Internship-Engaged Learning
- Challenges students to analyze the theory and practices that impact the ethics of leading, interpersonal and organizational dynamics, and competent workplace contributions required for success
- Internship course also fulfills the Core Engaged Learning requirement
- Prerequisite: At least Sophomore standing; Quinlan School of Business major; "C-"or better in BSAD 220; consent of instructor
- Term Availability: Fall, Spring, Summer
- Credits: 3
- Mode of Instruction: Online, Hybrid
- QUIN 501: Curriculum Practical Training
- Companion course for any Quinlan graduate-level business student concurrently engaged in an internship for 1 to 3 hours of elective academic credit
- Students will engage in reflection on their contributions to the workplace and the overall employment experience
- Prerequisite: Graduate student standing
