Program Overview


Doctor of Physical Therapy

The doctor of physical therapy program provides clinical, laboratory, and research experiences with leading faculty, clinicians, and researchers. UT Health San Antonio physical therapy graduates are fully prepared to treat individuals with disorders across all age groups, regardless of their condition, illness, or injury. We strive for our graduates to become the most respected practitioners in their field.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed by May of the enrollment year.
    • Complete program prerequisites prior to beginning the DPT program
  • Overall GPA 3.2
  • Math/Science Prerequisites GPA 3.2
  • 50 Physical Therapy observation hours
