Emergency Medical TechnicianBasic Program
The Emergency Medical TechnicianBasic is a preparation course for certification as an EMTBasic. The course includes all the skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at a basic life support level with either an emergency service or other specialized service.
Program Description
Students experience thorough and challenging pre-hospital education and training. The program offers all levels of EMS certification courses and is an American Heart Association-designated training center.
Admissions Criteria
- Complete Texas Common Core Curriculum (co-enroll option available)
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.0
- Documentation of EMT-Paramedic certification
