Program Overview
Introduction to the Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) Programme
The Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) Programme is a five-year full-time programme accredited by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK). Graduates of this programme will be eligible to obtain a licence to practise as Registered Nurses (General) in Hong Kong.

Clinical Practicum
Clinical Practicum is an important component of undergraduate nursing education, providing students with real experience in both public and private hospitals, community centres, and nursing homes. Clinical placement sites include:

The Division is dedicated to fostering collaborations with overseas universities and institutions, promoting summer or term-time exchange to enhance students' global exposure and deepen their understanding of healthcare systems beyond Hong Kong.
Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction for classroom teaching is English, except for those courses that are granted exemption. All practicum courses will be conducted in Cantonese to prepare students for working with Hong Kong residents in local healthcare settings.

Fees
The application fee is HK$450 for local and non-local applicants. The tuition fee is HK$54,490 per instalment for local students and HK$62,664 per instalment for non-local students, with a total of ten instalments for the five-year programme.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available to recognize students' outstanding achievements, based on academic merits or other criteria set out by the School or donors.
Financial Assistance
Students can apply for the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) and the Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) from the Student Finance Office (SFO) of the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency.
Admission Requirements
The admission requirements include:
- Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE)
- Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) and Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)
- Other qualifications deemed acceptable by the School as equivalent to the General University Admission Requirements
- Applicants aged 25 or above with acceptable qualifications to justify admission

The application deadline is 6 August 2026 for local applicants and 26 June 2026 for non-local applicants. The student orientation will be held in late August 2026, and the course commencement will be in early September 2026.
