Introduction to the Program
The Accounting program is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practical skills, laying a solid foundation for a career in accounting, further studies, or professional development.
Program Features
The program features include:
- Incorporation of various professional subjects to enhance students' knowledge of accounting, auditing procedures, financial statement analysis, accounting ethics, and preparation of complex financial reports
- Opportunities for students to participate in summer internships with accounting firms, providing professional guidance and exchange opportunities
- Equipping graduates with relevant work skills in the field
- Graduates are expected to receive exemptions from professional exams offered by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Association of International Accountants (AIA)

Credit Transfer/Exemption
First-year students who have completed equivalent courses at other institutions before admission can apply for credit transfer/exemption upon entry. Students can be exempted from up to 15 credits.
Progression Pathways
The program offers a progression pathway to various self-funded undergraduate programs. Graduates are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs offered by local universities and other institutions in areas of accounting or business-related fields.
