Chiang Mai Service & Study Tour
Background
The Chiang Mai Service & Study Tour is a unique opportunity for students to build an adventure park in local communities and arrange various activities for local children and youth. This tour, organised by the Leadership Qualities Centre, aims to broaden students' horizons, develop essential leadership skills, cultural understanding, and a sense of global citizenship.
Aims
The programme has the following objectives:
- Foster students' caring spirit for the community
- Support the development of villages in Chiang Mai
- Enrich students with meaningful exposure and experience
- Increase students' self-confidence and teamwork abilities

Language
The programme will be conducted in English.
Eligibility
All HKBU UGC and non-UGC funded UG students are welcome to apply.
Quota
The programme has a quota of 16 students.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is 28 September 2025 (Sunday).
Screening Interview
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a screening interview on 2-3 October 2025 (Thursday and Friday) from 14:30-18:00.
Fees
The programme fee is HK$2000 per person, which includes accommodation, meals, and activities arranged by LQC, excluding visa and air ticket. A refund of $1000 will be given upon full attendance of all trainings, services, and post-trip activities with satisfactory performance.
Important Notes
Successful applicants must fulfill the vaccination and travel requirements (if any) as required by the concerned country and bear their own costs of visa application (if applicable).
