Admission Requirements
Academic Qualification
- Applicants should possess a non-psychology bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
- Preferably have completed an introductory psychology course in their undergraduate studies.
- A "non-Psychology degree" shall refer to any undergraduate qualification that does not fully satisfy the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS) membership eligibility requirements for a recognized psychology first degree.
Language Proficiency Requirement
- Hold a bachelor's degree which is obtained from a recognised institution where English is the medium of instruction.
- Provide any of the following English test results for meeting the English proficiency requirements:
- TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based)
- IELTS (Academic): Overall Band at 6.5
- Note: Test result provided should be within two years from the date of issuance of the Admission Offer letter. Test result of TOEFL iBT Home Edition or IELTS Indicator is not accepted.
Selection Process
- Short-listed applicants may be interviewed should the Programme Board deem it necessary.
- Application result will be reflected in the application status in the online application system.

The programme aims to provide intensive training in a broad knowledge base across key areas of psychology with unique emphasis on health-related topics. The programme structure is benchmarked with international standards, aligning with similar conversion programmes offered in other universities. Graduates will fulfill membership requirements of major psychological societies in the world, and be prepared for advanced professional and research postgraduate training in psychology in Hong Kong and overseas.
