The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) programs are offered by the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. These programs are available in both full-time and part-time study modes.

  • Full-time Self-funded: HK$94,000/year
  • Part-time Self-funded: HK$47,000/year

Program Details

• The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) is established by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) to attract the best and brightest students from all over the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong.
• Applicants for admission to our PhD programs via HKPFS will concurrently be considered for our regular research postgraduate programs.
