It is recognized by professional accounting bodies, including the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), CPA Australia, the Association of International Accountants (AIA), and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA Australia).
Special Features
- Summer Internship: Students have the opportunity to participate in a full-time internship with one of the Big Four accounting firms or other renowned accounting firms without delaying their graduation.
- Scholarships: Multiple scholarships are available exclusively for students studying the accounting specialization.
- Graduation Options: Students can choose additional graduation options, including a double specialization in business or a minor in a non-business discipline, allowing them to study multiple subjects from different academic fields while gaining professional knowledge in business.
Course Characteristics
- Experiential Learning Activities: These are a distinctive feature of the business program and a graduation requirement for business students. All business students must complete at least 120 hours of experiential learning activities during their four years of study, which can include overseas exchange, internship, or service-learning projects. Additionally, students must complete at least 40 hours of LinkedIn Learning courses, after which they can choose to connect their LinkedIn account with the learning platform for future employers to reference.

Student Life and Sharing
A graduate from the accounting program shared their experience of how the university helped them transform from an uncertain high school student to a thoughtful adult. The flexible curriculum allowed them to explore various interests, including an internship with PwC to explore their passion for accounting, studying law-related courses, and eventually applying for a Juris Doctor degree with the support of professors. The university provided them with the space for self-reflection and pursuit of their interests, supported by professors who offered practical assistance.

For mainland Chinese students, general admission requirements apply. The program is also open to students with other qualifications, including HKDSE, post-secondary qualifications, and international qualifications.
