Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) is established by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) to attract the best and brightest students from all over the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong. Applicants for admission to our PhD programs via HKPFS will concurrently be considered for our regular research postgraduate programs.


Important Application Dates for Academic Year 2026/27

  • Regular Round Deadline: 1 December 2025
  • Clearing Round Deadline: 15 April 2026

Admission and Fees

A non-refundable admission confirmation fee, including the first instalment of tuition fee plus other administrative fees, must be paid upon acceptance of the admission offer.
