Certificate in Fitness Instruction

The Certificate in Fitness Instruction is a part-time program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become professional fitness instructors. Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:

• Have completed Form 5 or equivalent
• Hold a relevant certificate or equivalent qualification issued by the College
• Be at least 18 years old

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the program is HK$18,860, and a registration fee of HK$150 is required.

Certificate Award

Upon completing the program and meeting the attendance requirements, students will be awarded a certificate jointly issued by the Hong Kong Baptist University College of International Education and the Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre.

Exemption and Credit Transfer

Students may apply for exemption or credit transfer for certain subjects if they have completed similar courses or have relevant work experience. The application must be made at the time of admission, and the College reserves the right to approve or reject the application.

Teaching Locations

The program will be taught at the Hong Kong Baptist University Kowloon Tong campus, and classes will be held on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

Program Recognition

The program is recognized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and graduates will be eligible to apply for the Coach Recognition Scheme. The program is also listed on the Continuing Education Fund (CEF) website, and students may be eligible for reimbursement of course fees.
