Program Overview
The university offers a broad-based admission system for its undergraduate programs, including the Creative and Professional Writing program. This system allows students to explore different arts disciplines in their first year before choosing a major.
Admission Criteria
Broad-based Admission System
Starting from the 2022/23 intake, students will spend their first year studying various arts disciplines. Towards the end of their first year, they will choose the major they wish to pursue.
Senior Year Admissions
Eligible candidates can apply for direct entry to Year 3 of the Creative and Professional Writing program.
Requirements for International Students
Chinese language proficiency is a requirement for admission, as the program is bilingual. However, international students without Chinese proficiency or with lower levels of proficiency are still welcome to apply. A special curriculum has been designed to help qualified international students meet the graduation requirements.
