Program Overview

Program Details

The program is designed to support researchers and teachers in their academic pursuits.

Program Description

A dissertation is a challenging task that requires steering a scientific work process over several years. The written result of this process determines the recognition of the authors as members of their discipline. In this process, it is essential to find space for content concentration, coordination of research, investigation, and reading, structuring, writing, and editing, and to coordinate and integrate them into a daily routine that is also determined by short-term duties and necessities.

Program Objectives

The program aims to provide a platform for researchers and teachers to reflect on the numerous small or significant decisions that must be made in the dissertation writing process.

Program Structure

The program will be moderated by Stefanie Haacke-Werron and Dr. Michael Hellberg. The group will meet regularly in the rooms of the Center for Teaching and Learning (ZLL) after its foundation in May/June 2025.

Target Group

The program is designed for researchers and teachers who are working on their dissertations.

Meeting Details

An information meeting will be held on May 7, 2025, at 15:00 in room UHG B2-126. Interested parties are invited to attend this meeting.
