- Tasks include forming a successful team, creating a project proposal, and developing a project timeline.
- Students are also responsible for independently planning, conducting, documenting, and evaluating laboratory experiments.
Research Areas and Projects
- Five students from the Evangelisches Gymnasium Werther worked on a molecular genetic analysis of biological cleaners for the company Bio-Circle from G³tersloh.
- Two groups of young researchers from the Oberstufenkolleg investigated the biological composition of biofilms and insect intestines for a food laboratory in Siegen.

- These were presented to the client companies at a final presentation event.
Conclusion
The teutolab-biotechnologie program offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in real-world research projects, fostering their entrepreneurial and scientific skills. Through collaborations with companies, students gain valuable experience in project management, research, and presentation, preparing them for future careers in science and beyond.
