Program Overview
Media Training: Fit for TV and Radio
Description
Researchers are sought-after experts on radio and television, serving as important interview partners and explaining scientific backgrounds in programs. They contribute significantly to content discussions, taking a stand and explaining complicated issues in simple terms. Factors such as studio lighting and cameras create an unfamiliar environment.
The two-day practical seminar imparts basic knowledge in the field of science communication, especially in television and radio media. Practical exercises (statements, discussions) train communication oriented towards target groups and appropriate to the medium. The use of camera equipment and filming by a cameraperson authentically prepares participants for typical situations in front of a running camera. Participants learn about individual strengths and weaknesses and practice how to optimize their communication and body language.
