Master of Human Interface Technology

Introduction

Human Interface Technology takes a human-centred approach to the analysis, design, and development of interactive technologies to better meet users' needs.

The Master of Human Interface Technology (MHIT) programme offers cutting-edge research opportunities and hands-on experience in immersive technologies including mixed reality, virtual and augmented reality, applied games design, haptics, and AI. This technology is useful in a wide range of areas such as education and training, game development, disaster management, health and medicine, tourism, sport, and business.

Degree Structure

The MHIT consists of a thesis worth 90 points and 30 points of coursework.

  • The degree is to be completed full-time over 1 year, and starts in February each year.
  • For full requirements, see the Regulations for the Master of Human Interface Technology.
