Introduction

The Master of Project Management (MPM) at the University of Canterbury is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become confident project management leaders. Degree Structure

• The Master of Project Management is made up of a total of 180 points.
• The program includes compulsory courses in planning, leadership, and strategy foundational skills before concluding with a final capstone project.
• A fast-track option is available for students who have previously studied a Computer Science or Engineering Honours degree, allowing them to graduate with only 120 points.

Study Options

• The MPM is studied part-time and usually takes two or three years to complete, depending on whether the student qualifies for the fast-track option.
