Student Ambassador Programme

The Student Ambassador Programme is a leadership and service programme that aims to grow intercultural skills and cultural diversity within the accommodation community.


  • The programme is open to both domestic and international students at any level of study.
  • It is run in partnership with ISANA New Zealand (International Students Association of New Zealand and Australia).
  • The programme provides opportunities for participants to:
    • Grow their intercultural skills within UC Halls of Residence.
    • Increase their collective capability to integrate international students into UC Halls of Residence and to help overcome cultural barriers.
    • Grow cultural diversity within the accommodation community.
  • Students completing the programme will receive a UC/ISANA Students as Intercultural Leaders Award.
