Program Overview
Introduction to the Bachelor of Arts in Education
The Bachelor of Arts in Education is a comprehensive program that allows students to major or minor in Education. Students who major in Education can also progress to a Bachelor of Arts with Honors, Master's, EdD, or PhD in Education. Additionally, Education courses can be taken in combination with other degrees.
Program Structure
The program offers a range of stimulating Education courses, including three introductory courses that are available through distance learning:
- EDUC101: Spark! How & What People Learn
- EDUC102: Child and Adolescent Development
- EDUC103: Education, Culture and Society
Learning Opportunities
From the 300 level, students can opt to incorporate an internship into their degrees, providing them with hands-on experience in various fields. Recent internship placements have included:

- Two local schools (not as teachers!)
