Program Overview


Introduction to Industrial Product Design

Industrial Product Design combines skills in creative design, science, engineering, and business studies. This subject teaches students how to design and deliver suitable products that solve problems and generate consumer interest.


What Will My Study Involve?

Studying Industrial Product Design will involve:


  • Gaining practical understanding of the product design lifecycle from research and idea generation through to prototyping, testing, and delivery.

Industrial Product Design Minor

For the minor in the Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, Digital Screen, Health, Product Design, Science, Social and Environmental Sustainability, Sport, or Youth and Community Leadership, students must complete:


  • 75 points chosen from the 15-point major courses above, with at least 45 points above 100-level
