Master of Health Sciences Program

The Master of Health Sciences is a 240-point research pathway that consists of two parts.


Program Structure

The program is divided into two parts, with compulsory courses as follows:


  • Part I:
    • HLTH463 Whnau and Community Health
    • Either 90 points of approved Health Sciences courses, or 30 points plus GEOG401 Wellbeing, Community and Place
  • Part II:
    • Either HLTH690 MHealSc Thesis or HLTH697 Health Sciences Thesis
    • 30 points of approved Health Sciences courses
