Active Recreation Internships
The Active Recreation Internships are ideal for students who are passionate about bringing people together through sport, recreation, and creative engagement. Students will work alongside experienced event coordinators and wellbeing advocates to foster environments where hauora thrives.
What Can You Learn?
Students will be mentored by the Active Recreation Promoter on:
- How to design and deliver inclusive recreation events and/or initiatives
- Student and stakeholder engagement across UC and community groups
- Promotion and outreach strategies
- Event logistics and evaluation
Previous Initiatives

PACE Internship Programme
The Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) programme allows students to apply what they are studying within an authentic workplace environment to boost their employability, all whilst earning credits towards their degree programme.
