Introduction to Social and Environmental Sustainability

The University of Canterbury offers a Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability degree, providing students with the opportunity to learn about ways to look after the environment and each other. This degree includes study in a major subject and foundational skills in recognizing and creating sustainable change.

What Will My Study Involve?

• A wide range of subjects and topics, such as community development, Indigenous worldviews, business and advertising, and environmental policy, allowing students to customize their study around issues they care about.
• Development of communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to make real change for some of the world's biggest problems in the environment and in humanitarianism.

Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability
