Inclusive UC Challenge 2025
The Inclusive UC Challenge 2025 is an in-person challenge for University of Canterbury students. The challenge aims to create a student-focused event that fosters a sense of belonging for all students on campus.
Key Details
- Duration: 48 hours (Friday 14th & Saturday 15th March)
- Timing: Flexible timing to suit schedules
- Benefits:
- Free food
- Coaching from UC Centre for Entrepreneurship (UCE) staff
- Mentoring from experts
- Opportunity to meet new people, hone skills, build CV, and have an impact on the university
- Prizes: A share of the $3,000 cash prize pool and support from UC Business School to turn ideas into reality
Eligibility
- Open to UC tertiary students across all faculties and degrees
- No experience or event idea needed in advance
- UC Clubs are encouraged to register teams
Programme Structure
The programme structure includes:
- Launch: Tuesday 11th March - 4 to 6pm - Rehua building
- Challenge: Friday 14th & Saturday 15th March - 9am to 5pm - Rehua building
- Final presentation on Saturday afternoon
