The Sosiaalipolitiikan syvent‰v‰t opinnot program at Tampere University is a 90-credit course that delves into the theories and research of social policy. The program consists of advanced courses in social policy theories and research (25 credits), research methodology (10 credits), working life-oriented studies (15 credits), and a master's thesis and seminar (40 credits).
Program Description
The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of social policy as a science and practice. Upon completion, students will be able to interpret, apply, and utilize research data related to social policy phenomena. They will also possess the skills to research, evaluate, and develop social policy, as well as present alternative and sustainable solutions to existing practices and thought patterns.
