Program Description

The APP Virtual - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD program is led by an Advanced Practice Provider and provides updates on diagnosis and management of pediatric Mental and Behavioral health, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

Learning Objectives

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

• Identify diagnostic criteria for the most common pediatric psychiatric disorders
• Construct an initial treatment plan for a child or adolescent with depression, anxiety, or ADHD, including both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management options
• Summarize important considerations before initiating antidepressants, anxiolytics, and ADHD medications in the pediatric population
