Undergraduate Programs

• Bachelor of Social Work

• Child, Youth, and Family Studies (CYFS)
  • The CYFS program focuses on the well-being and development of children, youth, and families.
  • CYFS Practicum: The purpose of the practicum is to gain field experience in professional settings, integrating coursework, applying prior knowledge, and developing skills in the chosen career field.

CYFS Practicum Requirements

• Meet with an Academic Advisor
• Attend one mandatory practicum orientation
• Complete CFS 301: Ways of Knowing prior to starting the practicum
• Human Services Degree
  • The Human Services program provides students with a broad-based education in human services, preparing them for careers in social services, healthcare, and other related fields.

Graduate Programs

• Master of Social Work
  • The Master of Social Work (MSW) program prepares students for advanced social work practice, with specializations and elective options available.
• Ph.D. Program in Social Work and Social Research
  • The Ph.D. program focuses on social work and social research, preparing students for careers in academia, research, and advanced practice.
• Graduate Certificate in Gerontology
  • The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology provides students with knowledge and skills in gerontology, preparing them for careers working with older adults.

Practicum Education
