Program Overview

The Orientaci¾n para proveedores de cuidado infantil del ERDC, Parte 1, is a course designed to inform individuals about the requirements for becoming an Exempt Child Care Provider with the Oregon Department of Human Services. This training is sponsored by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (OCCD), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and the Office of Child Care of the Oregon Early Learning Division (OCC).


Course Details

  • The course is self-paced and offered free of charge.

  • The course is equivalent to 2 hours of CKC: Program Administration training._Tis course provides an introduction to the requirements and expectations for exempt child care providers in Oregon._childcare providers in Oregon. The course is designed to provide an overview of the necessary steps and requirements for individuals who wish to become exempt child care providers. The course is self-paced, allowing participants to complete the training at their own pace. A certificate is awarded upon completion of the course, and the training is equivalent to 2 hours of CKC: Program Administration.
