Real Estate Major
The bachelor's degree in real estate for adult students focuses on real-world, professional practices with a foundation in real estate law, economics, accounting, finance, investment, valuation, development, construction, and management. Through this comprehensive real estate curriculum, Fordham's adult students develop the knowledge base and professional skills required for career advancement and achievement in a global real estate environment.
Overview
The real estate major consists of three prerequisite courses, six core real estate courses, and elective courses, several of which also satisfy requirements of the Fordham University Core Curriculum. Students complete their major with elective courses in real estate.
Learning Objectives
The Bachelor of Science in Real Estate in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies has the following learning objectives:

Prerequisite Courses
Students majoring in Real Estate must complete the following courses prior to beginning the Real Estate major:
- ECON 1010: Principles of Microeconomics (3 credits)
- ECON 1020: Principles of Macroeconomics (3 credits)
